Pavey Ark are some of the talented musicians that are sharing their music with us all through Hour Lives. They are an alternative folk band from Hull with atmospheric vocals and strings that glide over finger-picked guitar, melodic bass and complex percussion. The result is a beautiful cinematic indie-folk sound that evades immediate comparison, but upon further listening the band’s wide range of influences start to reveal themselves.
