Evie Barrand is one of the talented musicians sharing their music with us all through Hour Lives. Evie is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Market Weighton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. She began singing and playing guitar at the tender age of eight, and started to write her own music when she was just fourteen, finding it the best way to express her feelings. Evie’s music is heavily influenced by the nineties and noughties UK indie scene, particularly bands like Travis and Keane, both of whom have praised her covers of their songs.
